My own personal mission is to maximize life’s infinite moments- to allow them to take me to new heights, to enjoy the journey along the way, to help others build extraordinary lives and flourish. Hi, I’m Sierra, Founder and Lead Advisor of Infinite Heights Wealth Management. Here’s a little bit of my story and vision for Infinite Heights.
I grew up in a school bus traveling around the Pacific Northwest. As I am sure you can imagine, there were fun adventures and experiences that shaped me to be who I am today. There were also challenging times, most of which centered around money and our financial struggles.
From a young age, I was determined to put myself through school and secure a better future for myself. I got my degree in both finance and psychology, aspiring to have a career where I felt I was making a difference in people’s lives while gaining a thorough understanding of money and the economy.
When I discovered financial planning, it felt like the perfect blend of my two interests. The thought of helping others pursue a better financial future for themselves while providing education that is still lacking in our society today thrilled me. As a young female business owner, I was thrown right into learning how to run and operate a business efficiently while working to grow my own book of business in a male-dominated industry. Still today, less than 30% of financial advisors are women and only 20% of businesses operating with revenue over $1M are women-owned.*
Over the years, I have become increasingly passionate about empowering other female leaders and business owners to overcome similar challenges that I have gone through. One of those challenges was finding time for myself outside of my career. In working with other business owners, I would constantly hear them talk about the same struggle. They have aspiring ambitions for the future and pour everything into making their dreams a reality.
Unfortunately for many, it is all too common for them to wake up one day and realize they have let their personal finances slip, they haven't prioritized their relationships, and they have put themselves last. I had to believe there was another way. As a planner, I love finding a solution to a problem that seems unsolvable. I took on this challenge and conducted a variety of research on the highly successful who seem to have it figured out. One of the common denominators: each person had the confidence they could do anything in their career, but the realization they can’t do everything all at once. They identify their most valuable skill, what they love most about what they do, and they outsource the rest. They create a strong team around them.
That is my goal for Infinite Heights.
